**Update on VP Talk**

“While Senator Clinton has made clear throughout this process that she will do whatever she can to elect a Democrat to the White House, she is not seeking the vice presidency, and no one speaks for her but her,” Howard Wolfson, one of the Clinton campaign’s chief strategists, said in a statement provided to The New York Times. “The choice here is Senator Obama’s, and his alone.”

Well good, I should think its his choice. Get all these bumbling idiots pushing for Hillary to be VP, starting all these idiotic online petitions, out of the picture now. Tell them to cease and desist. I mean really, do they think its going to actually help her cause for VP if they try to FORCE it down Obama’s throat? Seems to me they are just making it more unlikely than it already was that he will choose her. I wouldn’t if someone tried to force something on me. It’d make him look weak and unable to make his own decision. It’s NEVER going to happen I believe.

Its now been reported just about everywhere that Hillary will be anouncing on Saturday (not sure why she has to wait until then) that she is conceding the race, suspending her campaign, and fully endorsing Obama. She’s made herself look like a complete ass by not conceding Tuesday night, but hey, true colors.

Though this reporting is great news, I will not fully believe it until I hear those words come from her own mouth. There’s been too much deception and alternative realities coming from that campaign all year long. Hard to expect they actualy ackonwledge the truth for once.

All in all, what a fantastic week its been: my candidate wins the nomination (first time ever) and my team, the Red Wings, won the Stanley Cup last night!!! Woooo-hooooo!! Now where’s that job…..
