FL & MI Finally Settled
Watched some of the DNC Rules committee meeting yesterday–good stuff! It was interesting to watch Hillary’s supporters not really present any arguments based on rules, but tell a bunch of stories about voters. I think the results were the best Obama could have hoped for really. Both states got their delegates cut in half, FL was based on the non-competitive primary results, MI based on the plan the state party came up with to allocate delegates (end up 69-59 in favor of Clinton). Clinton’s people were of course quite unhappy about MI since they were arguing Obama should get NO delegates since his name wasn’t on the ballot and she should get her full share. Her supporters are so intellectually dishonest its ridiculous. Especially now they are trying to argue Hillary has won the popular vote.
Don’t care about Puerto Rico’s vote today, Hillary will win, Obama will get closer to the nomination. He only needs about 63 delegates total to reach the new magic number of 2118. If he gets between 20-30 supers to declare then he’ll go over the number on tuesday night with Montana/SD results.
