I can give factual crimes that the Bush Administration has committed:
1. Scooter Libby: found guilty by a jury for obstruction of justice (protecting Cheney, Rove etc..the people who leaked the name of a CIA operative in revenge for her husband writing an editorial about the false evidence being presented about Iraq and uranium)
Now here are some other factual examples, though not actually brought to court:
1. Bush authorized torture (this has been admitted, waterboarding did happen) in direct violation of the Convention against Torture and Geneva Conventions
2. The wiretapping and collection of emails, phone records, etc...without a warrant. This is specifically prohibited by the 4th Amendment (see previous blog post)
3. Bush issuing "signing statements" claiming some unknown authority to decline to follow parts of laws he doesn't like
4. Establishment of secret prisons by the CIA

So there are just a few, all born out by FACTS. I don't make this stuff up.

Yes, your right! Why base decisions on facts? It's more fun to be swayed by innuendo and slightly true; or slightly false; misconceptions and half-truths. After all, politicians do define their words from a different dictionary, right? Thanks for bringing me back to the reality of the situation.

Since when do opposite party members need proof or logic to state their case as fact? Let's not blur the lines with details now. Let the mud-slinging begin!

I guess I have a lot of catching up to do regarding the postings on this blog to-date. I might as well start with this one; the first one. There is at least one question that nags at me from this specific critique, and that is an acknowledgement; by anyone; of any party; of an actual "law breaking administration" occurrance that was brought to court and guilt established. I'm quite sure that if there were even one that the opposition party would be all over it and heads would be called for. Perhaps you can clarify your statement with an actual example; just one would be sufficient to prove the allegation. Hmmmmmm, I'm waiting; good luck.
